
Our story
Stage & Seating Hire NZ was born out of Stronglite Staging, a long-established name in the events industry known for its durable, New Zealand-engineered staging systems. When they decided to sell the hiring division of the business, they approached Chris and entrusted him to run with it. Having worked with Stronglite since 2018, Chris saw an opportunity to continue the part of the business he knew best: helping organisers bring their events to life through safe, reliable stage and seating hire solutions.
Chris already knew the clients, the gear, and the standards that made Stronglite's setups trusted across schools, councils, and community groups, so when the hire side became available, he purchased it, along with the full inventory of stages, grandstands, and event equipment, ensuring continuity of service for existing clients and a fresh focus on customer experience.
That’s how Stage & Seating Hire NZ began. Not as a brand-new company, but as the next chapter of a proven legacy. Today, we’re committed more than ever to solving organisers’ biggest problems - whether it's a stage hire in Auckland, or a corporate event that needs staging in Hamilton, or anywhere on the North Island, we make every event safe and stress-free from setup to pack-down.
